Lessons from the workplace: How corporate policies and attitudes lag behind workers' changing needs
Human Resource Management · 1992 · Volume 31 · Issue 3
Abstract
American companies' work-family programs and practices are lagging behind workers' changing needs and values. It is still common for employees to face antifamily discrimination by employers. The cost is seen in a decline in productivity, in quality of life, and in a loss of workers from the labor force. © 1993 by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
