Consumer satisfaction as a function of personal competence/efficacy
Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science · 1980 · Volume 8 · Issue 4
Abstract
Few studies have examined the potential effects of personality upon consumer's judgments of satisfaction/dissatisfaction with their purchases. This paper presents evidence that consumer satisfaction with household appliances is related to their sense of personal efficacy. Implications for policy making and future theoretical directions for satisfaction research are discussed.
