Abstract
Argues further that although J. D. Winker et al (see PA, Vol 71:22153 and 69:2414) have now made clear what they were proposing, acquiescence effects in one scale may be substantially unrelated to acquiescence effects in another scale. It is suggested that it may be of interest to assume that acquiescence in one scale will be an estimate of acquiescence in another, but the assumption cannot be considered a control of acquiescence.
