Abstract

Compared the number of pieces of mail sorted in a specified time for 2 groups of 10 undergraduates each. 1 group used standard post office department sorting techniques while the other used color-coded street names. Using a t test, the null hypothesis of no difference was rejected at the .05 level of confidence. The innovative technique was found to be superior to the conventional one.
