Abstract
Used 25 adult males to test 4 hypotheses that: (a) field-independent Ss would experience more discomfort in a cue conflict situation; (b) Ss at the augmenter end of the continuum on the Kinesthetic Figural Aftereffects Test (KFAET) would experience more discomfort in a conflict situation; (c) the KFAET would be related to past history of motion sickness; and (d) past history of motion sickness would relate to discomfort in the conflict situation. Results failed to support all hypotheses. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
