Abstract

Investigates the feasibility of applying a personnel predictive device (the Purdue Clerical Adaptability Test) to clerical workers (N = 60) in the Republic of South Africa. An R = .40 between the criterion measure of overall job success (paired comparison ratings) and the 6 subtests of the predictor is reported. The changing nature of the interrelationships between the different subtests on readministration is demonstrated and discussed. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
