Predictive and concurrent validity of the Minnesota Vocational Interest Inventory for vocational high school boys

Abstract

Presents the 2nd and final report on a 4-yr follow-up of vocational high school boys to check on the validity of the Minnesota Vocational Interest Inventory. 438 freshman and senior students were administered the inventory. Multivariate statistical analyses showed excellent classification accuracy in terms of 3 large trade curricula in which distinct inventory patterns emerged for each group.
