Abstract
Attempted to assess the magnitude of o error and disagreement in a sample of 40 senior male dental students. Ss were presented with a series of 40 radiographic stimuli and were required to give a detection response, a recognition response, and a difficulty rating. Analyses of the detection responses revealed a high false positive rate and moderate miss rate. Analyses of the recognition responses showed that ss were fairly accurate in describing abnormalities that were correctly detected. No consistent relationship was found between os difficulty ratings and either detection or recognition performance. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
