Abstract
Varied 3 stimulus properties (type of postage, degree of personalization, and nonmonetary inducement) to modify return rates of questionnaires. A chi-square analysis for a 3 * 3 * 3 contingency table indicates that neither main effects nor interactions had any effect on rate of return. Latency of return also was unaffected by these variables. A replication of the study with an additional 810 Ss yielded identical results. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
