Abstract

12 apparatus and 9 printed fine manipulative tests were administered to 760 Air Force technical school trainees and the intercorrelations factor analyzed. The 5 factors identified were Manual Dexterity, Finger Dexterity, Speed of Arm Movement, Wrist-Finger Speed, and Aiming. The factorial invariance in this area is confirmed, and the usefulness of printed and apparatus measures of these factors is discussed. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
