An attempt at validation of The Empathy Test

Abstract

Seventy-two college students who took The Empathy Test were organized into 12 6-man leaderless discussion groups, and after interaction each rated the others and predicted the group average. The correlation between the ratings and the test scores was not significantly different from zero. "This attempt at validating The Empathy Test was not successful."
