Dimensions of foreman performance: A factor analysis of criterion measures

Abstract

Data pertaining to the value of measures of foreman performance were subjected to factor analysis. 20 criterion variables, 9 ratings, and 11 objective measures were used with 102 foremen in one plant and 104 in another. "Four meaningful dimensions were identified by factor analyzing the measures separately for each plant.
