Abstract
Using an attitude questionnaire, 3 groups of soldiers (n = 24) who were selected as "favorable toward the Army," "neutral," and "disposed against Army life," were asked to evaluate for acceptability 14 articles of standard QM issue. Results indicated that differences in general attitude toward the Army affect evaluations of articles of use and wear, and suggest that these attitudinal differences are more important in influencing the acceptability of some articles than of other.
