Two approaches to the prediction of group responses
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1962 · Volume 47 · Issue 2
Abstract
The method of measuring the ability of an individual to predict the responses of a group was examined. A comparison was made of a predictor's score when summing his correct prediction in one direction as compared to the number of responses in that direction. A relatively low correlation was obtained.
