Validity of some ability and interest scores

Abstract

The averages by department of supervisors' scores on the Kuder Preference Record and the California Test of Mental Maturity were correlated with three departmental criteria: work-rework ratio, acceptance rate, and production (standard hours) ratio. For the sample of 28 departments (217 supervisors) none of the subtest scores was significantly correlated (rank-order correlations) with any of the three criteria.
