Abstract
41 establishments were ranked on 35 variables, rank-differences correlations computed, and the matrix factor-analyzed. 10 dimensions accounted for most of the common variance. "Three variables, size, hourly earnings, and skill ratio, determined three independent factors, despite the fact that they were outnumbered by the variables descriptive of the relationship… . Multivariate analysis is judged superior to univariate analysis for this kind of study." (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
