Abstract

"An electrical strain gage was fitted to a pressure key and continuous force records were taken during a simple reaction-time experiment. Various levels of holding force previous to stimulus onset were required of S with two widely different amounts of additional force required for the response… . The most striking finding… is the constancy of the rate of force application curves under widely varying conditions." (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
