Abstract
Wholesale cost of meat dishes served on the standard army installation were related to preference ratings obtained in food attitude surveys. A curve of the form[Equation omitted](Y = preference, X = cost) fitted the data closely (curvilinear r = .86). Applications of this finding are discussed.
