Abstract

"The least amount of turn on a tactual-kinesthetic basis and the time to make settings on a linear scale were studied in bare-hand operation and with MA-1 double flying glove. With small knobs, gloved operation was superior in both. With larger knobs, the superiority was lost. No ready explanation of the phenomena has been developed."
