Abstract

"A minimum of knowledge of results is necessary for learning. The effect of additional knowledge of results on learning to aim at moving targets using a synthetic trainer is described. Thirty Ss were tested for two half-hourly periods on each of 10 days. Fifteen of these Ss received random intermittent knowledge of results for the first five days only. Analysis of the results showed that there were significant differences between the groups towards the end of the training period but these differences were no longer significant when the additional knowledge of results was removed."
