Abstract

Reviews the book "Learning Through Discussion," by Nathaniel Cantor (1951). According to the reviewer, Cantor has provided a practical tool for work in the training area. This tool offers some hope of being understood by his non-technical colleagues and by industrial supervisors and executives. Cantor's use of Kelley's basic educational fallacies to develop the chapters on Learning is excellent. The chapters which follow flow naturally into the discussion of the Dynamics of Discussion and the Skills in Discussion. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
