Abstract

Reviews the book, The Measurement of Intelligence of Infants and Young Children by Psyche Cattell (see record 1941-02397-000 ). In the present monograph Dr Cattell describes a scaled test for ages 2 months to 30 months. There are five items (with one or two alternates) at each month from 2 to 12, at each second month from 14 to 24, and at 27 and 30 months. The items at the lower ages are adapted from Gesell, and at the higher blend with the Terman-Merrill Form L, of which it can be considered a downward extension.
