Abstract

Reviews the book Psychology in Industry by J. Stanley Gray (see record 2006-20914-000 ). This book reflects the author's belief that any factor which affects the production efforts of workers is appropriately classified as industrial psychology. This view has resulted in a different type of book on psychology in industry. However, the reviewer finds it a disappointing book and lists aspects of the book that led to this conclusion. The reviewer does find some favorable aspects of the book but feels they do not offset the limitations of the book. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
