Our expanding responsibilities
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1952 · Volume 37 · Issue 2
Abstract
The author discusses the expanding responsibilities of industrial psychologists. Topics include: (1) the most interesting diaries which many of the psychologists who are working full time in industry (often on projects on the fringes of the "psychological") have kept for two weeks and sent in as a foundation for a case book in industrial psychology; (2) a meeting which the author attended of psychiatrists and psychologists working in industry which was held in Asbury Park this spring; and, (3) the criticisms which have been made, some in writing and many in discussions, that published research of industrial psychologists is at a very superficial level.
