Abstract

High school regents examination average and college freshman-sophomore average correlate significantly higher for a group of 750 students at the University of Buffalo when factors such as location of high school, sex, amount of regents examination repetition, amount of foreign language spoken in the home, age at high school graduation, position among siblings and college degree sought are isolated.
