A comparative study of forgery
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1943 · Volume 28 · Issue 3
Abstract
Forgers, totalling 135 cases, were compared with 480 cases sentenced for various other offences to the State Prison of Southern Michigan. The forgery group was found to be older, to score higher on intelligence and grade placement tests, and to be more than twice as recidivistic as the control group.
