Abstract

[Correction Notice: An Erratum for this article was reported in Vol 35(2) of Journal of Applied Psychology (see record 1951-08283-001 ). A revised Table 2 is presented. Additionally, corrections related to the original article's summary are included.] No statistically significant differences exist on any scales of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory between women enrolled in the curriculum for elementary school teachers, music, nursing, or liberal arts, although certain tendencies appear. All of the groups appear stable and normal. Recommendations are made for the use of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory in vocational counseling.
