Abstract

Scores on the Otis self-administering test of mental ability, higher form D, and the Minnesota clerical test were correlated with efficiency and performance ratings for a group of supervisors, clerks and enumerators. Although the coefficients of correlation range between .01 and .28, some information is obtained by the use of tests, which aid in selecting more good and eliminating more poor employees.
