The effect of radio plugging on students' opinions of popular songs
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1939 · Volume 24 · Issue 6
Abstract
While extensive playing of popular songs over the radio apparently does not increase students' liking of the songs, a lack of playing results in a decrease in liking. The effects are more marked with songs which are less liked than with those which are more liked. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
