Journal of Applied Psychology · 1940 · Volume 25 · Issue 3
Abstract
The Ferson-Stoddard Law Aptitude Examination, the Dearborn group test, the Otis self-administering test, and the Inglis test of English vocabulary were administered to 180 law students, and the scores were correlated with grades in law courses. The highest validity coefficient, .34, was found with the Ferson-Stoddard test. A survey of the literature relative to this latter test is given.
