Abstract

The post-war adjustment counseling program in an industrial concern is described. Returns from 685 out of 1086 questionnaires indicate that significant positive values resulted from the counseling. More favorable attitudes were expressed by employees who had left the plant than by those still employed, and by women than by men. Further analyses are made for age, education, tested ability, counselee's comments. A follow-up study of veterans' placement showed that 82.4% were satisfactorily placed.
