Relation of Iowa Silent Reading Test scores to measures of scholastic aptitude and achievement
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1945 · Volume 30 · Issue 4
Abstract
"The I.S.R. Test was found to have a higher correlation with grades in English and the social sciences than with grades in the physical sciences, mathematics, and languages. The former correlations were not significantly higher than the latter. The I.S.R. Test possesses an independent relation to final grades when other variables are partialled out."
