Abstract

This experiment is based on a practical situation dealing with stealing in women's dormitories; it included 25 subjects. A combination of the two methods in this investigation is more reliable than either separately. Breathing was found to be of little significance as a criterion of guilt. The word association test was less reliable than the cardiopneumo-psychograph test. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
