Tests used by United States air carriers
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1948 · Volume 33 · Issue 5
Abstract
24 air carrier companies were asked to indicate the psychological test which they used in selecting and promoting personnel. The standardized and self-developed tests used and the frequency of use are given as well as the types of employees for whom they were used. All but 6 of the companies were using tests, and no company had discontinued administering them permanently once it had begun to use them. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
