Interests of senior and junior public administrators
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1945 · Volume 30 · Issue 1
Abstract
Five hundred administrators were classified into 4 groups according to yearly salary ($3,000 and above). Rank order correlations were computed between interest profiles and for other characteristics. Senior and junior administrators were differentiated on the occupational interest level scale (OL scale: summary measures of scores on 14 occupational interest scales) by a critical ratio of 4.8.
