Abstract
113 mechanical engineers in the Curtiss Wright Co., who had not been assigned to stable positions were the subjects of this study. Each one was studied by means of a personal history form and a clinical interview as well as with a battery of ability, aptitude, interest, and personality tests. During the course of the interview, which was primarily diagnostic in nature, the test findings were communicated to the engineer for his information and guidance. Test evaluation was qualitative with every source of information considered in relation to all other relevant data. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
