The economy of item analysis with the IBM Graphic Item Counter

Abstract

Use of the counter attachment of the IBM test scoring machine proved more accurate in item analyses than hand tabulation alone. It appears sufficiently accurate for most testing programs and takes one eighth the time of hand scoring. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
