An experimental consumer panel technique

Abstract
An unbiased panel of 20 families was selected and supplied with unlabeled bottles of beer for a seven day period. Each day they received eight bottles each of six different brands from which they could choose to drink. The brands all were in the same kind of bottles, and were distinguished only by different colored tops, which were reassigned each day. The study showed that there were real differences in preferences for beers even when the brand names were not known. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
