Abstract
Students in art, music, and teacher training institutions, divided into those taking their first year of professional training and those in their third or fourth year of training, took intelligence tests, three tests of rote memory, a motor speed test, and the Bernreuter personality inventory, which was scored for neurotic tendency. Only a few differences between the first year and advanced groups within each school were statistically significant, but there were more significant differences between schools. The reliable differences which occurred at both age levels between schools are listed. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
