Abstract

The high-school form of the Mooney Problem Check List, consisting of 330 problems in 11 different problem areas was given to 407 high-school students. On rational grounds, 7 differences between groups were hypothesized concerning the relative frequency with which various problem areas would be checked. 6 of these differences were found. "It is concluded that these findings present prima facie evidence for the validity of the Check List." (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
