Abstract
100 college subjects were given a battery of 7 tests measuring steadiness. From the results, it was possible to identify 3 factors: (1) a factor associated with steadiness and precision of movement involving spatial components in 2 or more planes; (2) a factor associated with precision of movement in a restricted plane; (3) a factor related to involuntary movement of the arm and hand. The results carry implications for selection in certain industrial areas. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
