Abstract

A table of scores and percentiles in number and name checking on the Minnesota Vocational Test for Clerical Workers is presented, based on the scores of 168 students in the two year Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Comparisons with scores of clerical workers and other office occupational groups are made. Available data question the claim that the Minnesota Clerical Test measures the ability to discriminate small differences rapidly. The test correlates significantly with intelligence, and scores on the test aid in differentiating clerical workers from workers in general.
