Abstract

Comments are made upon what type of training is desirable for students of psychology during the war in the following fields: statistics; tests and measurements; learning (especially training for military or industrial jobs); and social, clinical, abnormal, and experimental psychology. "In sum, psychology faces in the war the biggest opportunity and the biggest test in its history… . Every instructor… who trains his students to handle basic techniques with critical insight is helping psychology to make a significant contribution."
