Selection of aircraft engineering draftsmen and designers

Abstract

In a sample of 150 aircraft technical personnel, a positive relationship was shown to exist between design ability and the Survey of Space Relations Ability and the Otis Self Administering Test. This relationship is high enough to justify the use of certain types of tests in the selection of engineers to do aircraft design and drafting.
