Code numbers as a means of scoring group-administered performance test products
Journal of Applied Psychology · 1941 · Volume 26 · Issue 2
Abstract
Usually performance tests are expensive to administer and score because of the difficulty of grading partial performance scores. The addend system allows the valuable partial performance scoring feature to remain while the clerical and administrative work is reduced to the point where it becomes practical to use performance tests in large group situations.
