Abstract

The IQ's of prisoners who had been tested by means of the Otis Classification Test were compared with the IQ's of others who had been tested with the Illinois Examination. Higher IQ's were obtained with the Otis test, and when classified according to type of crime, there was little correspondence between the average IQ's of the prisoners.
