Abstract
Relationships between occupational interests as measured by the Strong Vocational Interest blank and the Allport-Vernon scale of values were studied. Since some of the occupational interests groups were found to be characterized by certain profiles on the Allport-Vernon scale, it was concluded that in the absence of other interest measurements the latter scale can be used to approximate certain occupational interest types.
