Abstract

A procedure for measuring interests by means of memory of items presented in an occupational motion picture is described. For the occupation of nursing it was found that the scores yielded by this technique were uncorrelated with ratings on the Strong Vocational Interest Blank and ratings of proficiency, but did differentiate nurses from non-nurses.
