Abstract

Questioning of residents of a neighborhood in which there is an industrial establishment revealed that opinions were unfavorable to expansion of the plant, that property values are lower because of the plant, and that it constitutes a fire hazard for the group living near by. Opinion polling is recommended to aid planning authorities in establishing zoning regulations. The sampling-method used is described. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2025 APA, all rights reserved)
