Abstract

23 executives of a rubber company enumerated the goals of the company. The goals were combined into a Goal and Achievement Index form and were ranked by the executives in terms of goal importance and degree of achievement of each. Analysis of the data indicates the value of the method for studying communication at executive levels, knowledge of company goals and achievements, and relationships existing between specific goals when analyzed by individual executives and departmental groups.
